The Sunswift 7 electric car has set a world record

The Sunswift 7 electric car has set a new world speed record at a distance of 1000 kilometers. The car is powered by solar panels and uses AI.

This was reported by PaySpace Magazine.

The new electric vehicle was developed by students from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Under the hood of the car, advanced AI from NVIDIA Jetson is built in. AI helps vehicles adjust their speed depending on the weather forecast. That is, if it is expected to rain, AI will warn the driver to accelerate.

Despite its light weight of 500 kg and aerodynamic drag comparable to the rustling of leaves, Sunswift 7 demonstrated that it can easily cover distances at 85 km/h, completing the track in 11 hours, 53 minutes and 32 seconds.

The test drive took place near the Australian Automotive Research Center in Victoria, Australia. In total, the car drove 240 laps.
