The Ukrainian Armed Forces began using Czech BM-21MT Striga MLRS.
The video of the system’s operation was published by the command of the 61st Separate Mechanized Steppe Brigade. It is not known how many such units Ukraine received.
The BM-21MT Striga is a multiple launch rocket system manufactured by the Czech company Excalibur Army. The system is a development of the Soviet BM-21 Grad MLRS. It has an improved and lighter chassis and an updated guidance system. In addition, it has a computing, inertial navigation, and communication system that is responsible for the accuracy of the work. The BM-21MT Striga can engage targets at a range of up to 40 km (depending on the projectile).
