Ukrainian Armed Forces test unmanned multipurpose robot SIRKO at the front
The Ukrainian military is testing a universal ground robot UGV Sirko-S1 at the front, which helps to transport cargo, evacuate the wounded and reconnoiter enemy positions.
This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
It is noted that the robot can be used to safely deliver ammunition or provisions to soldiers in hot spots. Its maximum payload is up to 200 kg.
According to the minister, the robot has already shown successful results in combat and has received positive feedback from the military.
Instead, the Brave1 developers plan to equip the robot with a combat turret or install modules for demining and mining.
- Earlier, a group of Ukrainian engineers designed a huge 90-kilogram Dzhmil-90 drone capable of carrying a unified unit with unguided missiles UB-16-57, which weighs about 50 kg. It holds 10 S-5M missiles with a range of 2.5 km.
