There were explosions in Crimea. Russian invaders have raised helicopters

Explosions were heard in the temporarily occupied Crimea on November 17. They occurred in the southwest of the peninsula, approximately between the settlements of Bakhchisaray and Kacha.

According to local residents online, two explosions were heard. Helicopter flights are also reported amid the explosions.

What is known about the attacks in Crimea

On the night of October 30, the Defense Forces hit a Russian air defense missile regiment near the village of Olenivka in Crimea with missiles. According to the occupants, 17 soldiers were wounded. Five cars were also damaged, one of them beyond repair. On the same day, explosions occurred in Sevastopol. The Russian occupation “administration” claimed that air defense systems were working and two targets were shot down.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the downing of 8 Storm Shadow missiles. Before that, Razvozhayev had only spoken of “two air targets.”

On November 1, the so-called “governor” of the Russian occupation authorities in Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that terrorists used a smoke screen in the Sevastopol Bay area. Later, he said that the military was allegedly working to destroy a large number of different air targets in different areas of the peninsula.

Later, local publics claimed that missiles were moving from the Genichesk district through the Arabat Spit toward Crimea. In particular, it became known about the use of an alleged smoke screen over the Crimean bridge. At least two resort facilities seized by terrorists on the Arabat Spit were hit during the attack.

On November 4, the Strategic Communications Department of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced that the Ukrainian military had attacked the Zaliv shipyard in Crimea.
