A $500 FPV drone successfully destroyed a Russian modernized T-90 tank worth millions of dollars (video)
The National Guard of Ukraine has demonstrated how an FPV drone destroys a Russian modernized tank that costs thousands of times more.
As a result of the joint work of the Azov Brigade and the Condor air reconnaissance unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, a Russian T-90 tank was destroyed. The exact model is not specified. The price can vary from $2.5 million to $4.5 million.
The tank was hit by an FPV drone. We’ve seen a lot of videos showing the work of kamikaze drones in a first-person view. However, this video is notable for the fact that it allows you to see the appearance of the UAV and the launch process. Usually, the Ukrainian Defense Forces demonstrate the final stage of flight.
According to Oryx analysts, over 19 months, the Russian Armed Forces have lost at least 83 T-90 tanks of various modifications, including 41 modernized T-90M “Breakthrough” tanks. Almost 300 destroyed tanks were also recorded, the model of which has not been identified. It is possible that there are also T-90 tanks among them.
