A crossover with four Lambo doors is presented

The Italians presented a crossover with four lifting doors. Serial assembly of the firstborn of the young Aehra brand will be launched in 2025.

The Italian brand Aehra showed its first car designed under the leadership of designer Filippo Perini, a native of Lamborghini. This is an electric crossover with an unusual configuration: it has four lifting doors at once, and if it got ‘butterfly wings’ at the front, the rear ones resemble ‘seagull wings’. The output of the power plant will reach 816 horsepower, and the range on one charge will be 800 kilometers.

The models under the concise name Aehra SUV received a steeply inclined windshield that smoothly transitions into the roof, and tiny cameras instead of mirrors, the attachment of which has something in common with track motorcycles. The brand’s chief designer, Filippo Perini, characterizes the ultra-short hood and slight rear overhang as a ‘bold approach.’ Previously, Perini worked at Lamborghini, where he participated in the creation of such models as the Aventador, Huracan, as well as the best-selling Urus.

The carbon fiber monocoque and the extensive use of composites provided the Aehra SUV with a light weight of up to two tons and allowed four “folding” doors to be added at once. High-quality materials are used both outside and inside, but the interior of the Aehra does not show yet. The size of the wheels is 23 inches at the front and 24 inches at the back.

So far, only a few specifications have been revealed. The power plant will develop from 550 to 600 kilowatts (748-816 horsepower), accelerating the crossover to a maximum of 265 kilometers per hour. About 800 kilometers of autonomous travel will be provided by a battery with a capacity of 120 kilowatt-hours.

The cost has also been announced: it will range from 160,000 to 180,000 US dollars. Aehra plans to bring the crossover to the market in 2025, starting sales from North America, Europe and Great Britain. In 2023, the SUV will be joined by a second model – an electric sedan. Then the lineup will be replenished with a sports car with a 2+2 seating formula.
