A movie or series based on Cyberpunk 2077 is planned to be made in collaboration with the creators of Mr. Robot
CD Projekt Red, the developer of Cyberpunk 2077, has announced the start of work on a TV show or movie based on the game’s setting.
The company has established a partnership with Anonymous Content, a production company that has already created True Detective and Mr. Robot, and participated in the creation of Revenge and Spotlight. The Project RED CD gave the creators considerable creative freedom in terms of plot development. It is not yet known whether it will be a show or a movie.
Now the game is considered a great success, which is confirmed by 25 million sales and more than 3 million downloads of the latest Phantom Liberty DLC. The company is exploring the possibility of releasing a pseudo-sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, and cooperation with Anonymous Content will certainly help create something special.
