A powerful explosion has occurred in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian city of Donetsk. As a result, black columns of smoke rise over the city.

It is noted that the strike hit the building of the occupation administration headed by the head of the “DPR” Denis Pushilin.

The day before, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Klishchiyivka in the Bakhmut sector of Donetsk Oblast. This information was confirmed by Captain Ilya Yevlash, head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“I can confirm that this happened due to the efforts of the 80th separate air assault brigade, the 5th separate assault brigade and the joint National Police brigade “Lyt”,” said the military.

As a reminder, Ukrainian troops have recently stormed Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast. The soldiers defeated the enemy and took control of the city. This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Defense forces captured Andriivka in Donetsk region during an assault. They are currently inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy and consolidating their positions,” the statement said.
