A rare case when an FPV drone tore a T-80BV to pieces, even though the Rashists put another “defense” in it

Ukrainian FPV drone operators demonstrate their skills in hitting Russian tanks by disposing of another T-80BV

The soldiers of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporozhians have recorded another destroyed tank of the Russian occupation forces in their assets – the video of the complete “demilitarization” of the vehicle was posted on social media by the brigade’s press service.

The vehicle was captured by the brigade’s fighters in Donetsk region – a Russian T-80BV tank was driving in the open when it came under the watchful eye of one of the reconnaissance UAVs.

So the brigade’s fighters apparently decided to hit the Russian vehicle with an FPV drone, whose operator skillfully guided the drone into the enemy armored vehicles.

The drone hit the tank, causing a rather powerful explosion, and the enemy tank caught fire.

In the end, the Ukrainian drone that was watching the enemy tank’s destruction managed to see the aftermath of the hit in detail, including the demolished turret and at least one of the “two hundredth” crew member.

It is worth noting that the Russians protected this T-80BV with a kind of improvised “brazier-cloak”, which in theory should have protected the vehicle from such unexpected air strikes, but probably due to the detonation of ammunition, the Russian vehicle finally went into the daily statistics of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to Oryx, the occupiers have lost more than 360 of their T-80BV tanks since the start of the full-scale invasion. In recent days, the Defense Forces have also been effectively destroying Russian T-90M “Breakthrough” tanks, which have certain problems that help to fry these vehicles with FPV drones.
