Accurately hit the target: Vapor 55 MX drone successfully fired GPS-guided ammunition (video)
The American defense company AeroVironment, which developed the Vapor 55 MX helicopter-type drone, has reported that it has conducted its first successful live firing of GPS-guided Shryke ammunition.
The Vapor 55 MX carried four rounds of ammunition simultaneously and demonstrated its combat effectiveness.
The integration of Shryke into this drone allows you to hit multiple targets at once.
The Vapor 55 MX drone is a helicopter-type electric unmanned aerial system that can operate in any weather. The drone’s operating time without recharging is more than 70 minutes.
The modular compartment allows you to attach payloads weighing up to 5.5 kg so that the takeoff weight does not exceed 25 kg. This restriction is set by the Federal Aviation Administration of the United States. 
But it applies only to commercial customers.
Military versions of the VAPOR 55 MX will be able to lift almost 10 kg of payload, and the maximum takeoff weight of the unmanned aerial vehicle will be approximately 29.5 kg. But the flight time of the drone will be reduced.
