Air Assault Troops demonstrate the operation of Caesar (video)

The soldiers demonstrated the Caesar self-propelled artillery systems, which Denmark had ordered for its own army, but decided to donate them all to Ukraine. They differ in their chassis and increased ammunition.

The artillerymen of the 148th separate artillery brigade are armed with French Caesar self-propelled artillery systems. This was reported by the military press service on Facebook.

“The paratroopers of the Caesar infantry fighting vehicle of the 148th separate artillery brigade send a message to the occupiers every day that they are not welcome here,” the brigade captioned the video.

It is noted that if the Russian invaders still want to stay in Ukraine, it will be in the form of “fertilizer for Ukrainian black soil.” The video shows how the art installation calculation works. The French machine has automated systems, so the operation of the plant is very fast.

The artillerymen arrive at the position, deploy, and enter the coordinates into the onboard computer. The gun automatically aims and fires. Thus, the whole work takes about a minute. The team consists of 5 soldiers.

The video also shows that there are two versions of the Caesar in service, which were ordered by Denmark, but it decided to give all the vehicles to Ukraine. There are also French cars. The version for Denmark differs from the basic one by an extended chassis based on the Czech Tatra T-815-7. The maximum range of destruction has not changed – 40-42 km when using active-reactive munitions.
