All 28 cruise missiles and 15 out of 16 “Shaheeds” over Ukraine shot down – Zaluzhnyi
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi reports that during the night attack on Ukraine, all 28 enemy cruise missiles and 15 of their 16 Shahed kamikaze drones were shot down.
He said that 28 air-launched missiles of the X-101/X-555/X-55 type were launched from 11 Tu-95MS strategic aircraft from the Caspian Sea and the Engels area.
16 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type – from the southern and northern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk).
Air defense forces shot down all missiles and 15 drones within Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa and Mykolaiv regions.
From August 29 to 30, the most devastating attack on Russia’s rear took place: Airplanes burning at the airfield in Pskov, airstrikes on a military unit and a microelectronics plant, and explosions in other places.
At night, Russians shelled Kyiv, Kyiv region and Zhytomyr region. The attack on the latter damaged an infrastructure facility and a railroad.
