All men will be forced to undergo re-identification at the TCC
The Verkhovna Rada wants all men to re-identify at the TCC, including those who are abroad.
Vadym Ivchenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, said this.
The deputies want to pass a law that would make it mandatory for all men, even those who are registered for military service, to attend military commissariats. The state wants to know the specific number of people who are currently in reserve and to make a plan for further mobilization.
To do this, men will need to appear in person at the TCC without a summons or use the electronic cabinet in the Oberig system, the creation of which is provided for by draft law No. 10378, which is scheduled to be voted on January 10.
Thus, they want to force all men to re-identify, even those who have gone abroad by hook or by crook. If they do not, they will face unpleasant consequences. Namely, all those who fail to comply with this requirement will be deprived of banking services, and consular and notary services may be suspended.
“Such decisions are not popular among the population, but there is no other way to reach out to men liable for military service. Millions of them are hiding from military registration, but we need to remind everyone that we are waging a war against a powerful enemy, so every man must sooner or later be ready to defend his homeland if necessary.” – said Vadym Ivchenko.
