An absolute record: FPV drone deprives occupants of “eyes” with long-range strike (video)

According to the military, no other drone of this type has ever been able to hit a target at such a great distance.

Soldiers from the Immaterium unit of the Ukrainian Defense Forces set a record by hitting a Russian occupation tower located 9 kilometers away with an FPV drone. The video was posted on the unit’s Telegram channel on July 9.

First, the military set the coordinates for the drone to strike. The drone’s route was adjusted as it approached the target.

After that, the FPV drone hit the center for receiving and transmitting information in the occupiers’ observation tower. The blow was also caught on video. So you can see a gray cloud of smoke rising in the area of the enemy’s observation tower.

The military emphasized that this operation is an absolute record for an FPV kamikaze drone. Before that, no drone of this family had ever been able to hit a target at such a considerable distance.

On July 9, the Ukrainian Armed Forces “gouged out the eyes” of the occupiers by destroying the expensive Zoo radar. The radar was moving in open space, so it was easily “spotted” by a Ukrainian reconnaissance drone and calculated the necessary coordinates. After that, the military launched an attack unmanned aerial vehicle, which hit the occupiers’ equipment.
