An electric supercar for three million euros was shown in Bulgaria
The Bulgarian company Alieno, which in 2018 announced the Arcanum electric hypercar with a capacity of 5,293 hp, and never put it into production, showed a new Unum model.
The company describes it as a ‘two-seater robotic electric hypercar with alien technology.’
The car will be available with two drive systems. In the THF version, it will be offered in four different versions of performance: 2610 hp. with 4440 Nm of torque, 3481 hp. with 5920 Nm of torque, 4351 hp. with 7400 Nm of torque and 5221 hp. with 8800 Nm of torque.
The simplest version will have 12 electric motors, and the top version will have 24 (6 per wheel). Graphene lithium-polymer batteries and supercapacitors with a capacity of 60 to 180 kWh will provide a range of 1,020 km on a single charge. The battery has an 800V architecture that supports fast chargers up to 350kW that fully charge the 60kW battery from 0 to 100% in 10 minutes and the 180kW battery in 30 minutes.
Unum can reach a maximum speed of 584 km/h. Each version will have three operating modes: STR (Street), TRC (Track) and RCE (Race). The braking system can be both traditional hydraulic and electromagnetic or ‘robotic’ with a pneumatic system.
The TRS version has a system with 24 motors that use a compressed air system to create thrust. There’s no performance data, but the company says the air is stored at up to 700 bar. Air from a compressor or cylinder can also be used to dry the road in front of a car’s tires on a rainy day to prevent aquaplaning.
Alieno is already taking orders and will only build Unum on customer pre-orders. The Urum THF has a base price of €1.8 million, while the Alieno TRS has a base price of €3 million. Depending on the specifications, the price can reach 4.5 million euros. The delivery period is from 18 to 30 months.
