Another drone is spotted near Sevastopol: local “authorities” sound the alarm

It is reported that the naval drone continues to move, but at the same time, the situation is allegedly “fully under control” of the Russian navy.

On Saturday, August 5, a surface drone was spotted in the Black Sea near Sevastopol. According to the “governor” of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, the device continues to move, so all measures are being taken to destroy it.

“In the Sevastopol maritime zone, in the open sea, the fleet detected a surface drone, which is currently continuing to move. All necessary measures are being taken to destroy it,” the official wrote on Telegram.

According to him, the movement of sailing boats to and from Balaklava’s beaches was suspended. At the same time, Razvozhayev noted that there is no need to evacuate the beaches, as the situation is allegedly “completely under the control of the fleet.”

“Approximately after 13:00, the traffic restrictions will be lifted and water transport will start operating again,” the official said.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Black Sea, the number of sightings of surface drones has increased in recent days. The head of the SBU, Vasyl Malyuk, spoke on this issue. According to him, this situation is quite logical, as Ukraine does conduct special operations in its territorial waters, which are completely legal.
