Apple has recognized the Ukrainian applet Headway as the app of the day
The educational applet Headway, created by Ukrainian developers, managed to hit the home screen of the US AppStore four times as the App of the Day. In January, the Ukrainian development was present on the main screen of the app store on the 19th, 24th, and 31st. In March, Headway was recognized as the App of the Day on March 30.
It is worth noting that each country where Apple is present has its own App Store. App stores have different ratings. They do not overlap with each other. The Ukrainian applet was recognized as the app of the day four times in the American store. There are more than 1 million applets in the App Store that strive to be on the main page of the App Store. Thus, it is quite difficult to get the App of the Day status.
The decision to feature an app is made by the App Store administration based on a variety of factors such as the number of downloads, localization scale, design, user experience, etc. Headway was recognized as the App of the Day during the active phase of Ukraine’s blackouts.
The Headway app was launched in 2019. Since then, it has been named the App of the Day in the British, Irish, Australian, and New Zealand App Stores. In 2023, the American App Store recognized the Ukrainian app as an App of the Day for the first time. In the book sampling niche, it ranks first on the planet in terms of downloads. The app’s audience exceeds 18 million people. It is used in more than 140 countries.
