Apple is preparing to release budget AirPods and an updated version of AirPods Max
According to Jeff Pu, an analyst at Haitong International Securities, Apple is currently actively working on expanding its line of wireless headphones. Apple plans to release more affordable AirPods and an updated version of the flagship AirPods Max.
The new AirPods models are expected to receive a significant design update, improved fit in the user’s ears, and convenient charging via USB-C port. The higher-quality version will be equipped with noise reduction and tracking via Find My.
As for the AirPods Max, the new version will retain the design of the previous model, but will receive an improved Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system and will also support USB-C charging.
According to the analyst, the presentation of new products will not take place in the near future. If the production process goes smoothly and without any delays or unforeseen problems, Apple plans to introduce the updated AirPods and AirPods Max in the fourth quarter of this year.
