Apple launches new apps for TVs, music, and Windows devices
After a long, long wait, Apple is changing the way Windows users use its services by launching three new programs: Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple Devices. The company aims to reduce the need for Windows users to use iTunes by offering a more direct and simplified way to access entertainment features and manage Apple devices.
Apple worked closely with Microsoft to ensure the quality of these programs
After a period of testing and feedback, these programs are no longer just a preview. Apple worked closely with Microsoft to make sure these programs were ready for the general public, and together they improved the user experience across platforms.
For those who love watching TV shows and movies or listening to music, Apple TV and Apple Music open up a world of content. Windows users can now easily watch their favorite shows or listen to music from their iTunes library or through Apple subscription services. The Apple Devices app makes it easy to manage your iPhone and iPad devices from a Windows computer, offering options for backing up, restoring, and synchronizing content.
In addition to these new apps, Apple has updated the iCloud for Windows program to make it work better with Windows systems. This is part of a larger effort to ensure that Windows users can enjoy a seamless experience with their services. Microsoft also supported this collaboration by integrating iCloud Photos into the Windows 11 Photos app.
These apps are available for Windows 10 or Windows 11 PCs, but are not currently available for ARM64 devices. However, the release makes it clear that the trillion-dollar tech giant is working hard to cater to a broader audience by ensuring that even Windows users can easily access and use Apple’s services without relying on iTunes.
