Apple stops production of iPhone 14 Plus
Analyst company The Information has published a report according to which Apple is stopping the production of the iPhone 14 Plus.
According to analysts, Apple has contacted at least one smartphone assembly partner to immediately stop production of the iPhone 14 Plus, as well as two component suppliers to reduce production by up to 90%. The report also mentions that one iPhone supplier has been ordered to increase production of components for the top-of-the-line iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max models.
Apple has not yet commented on the situation, but it seems that the company overestimated the demand for the novelty. Despite this, Apple still plans to release a Plus version of the iPhone next year.
If you suddenly did not know, the iPhone 14 Plus is sold in the United States from $899. That is, it is only $100 cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro and $200 cheaper than the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
