At night, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 24 Shahed-136/131 attack drones.
This was reported by the command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The drones were launched from the north and from the south – the eastern coast of the Azov Sea. The defense forces managed to shoot down 18 attack drones and destroyed one reconnaissance drone. For this purpose, anti-aircraft missile weapons, aircraft and mobile fire groups were used in the areas of responsibility of the South and Center air commands.
The Kyiv City Military Administration emphasizes that air defense forces destroyed all enemy missiles and drones in Kyiv’s airspace. As a result of the downing of the drones in the Shevchenkivskyi, Pecherskyi and Podilskyi districts of the capital, debris fell around about 10 buildings. This partially damaged parked cars and the road surface. There is no information about any injured people.
According to the “Pivden” military command, the enemy sent 15 attack drones to Odesa, 12 of which were shot down. Another 3 drones hit the dormitories of an educational institution. The fire was extinguished and no one was injured.
