According to media reports, the Croatian MLRS is capable of firing up to 12 missiles in 10 seconds and takes less than 2 minutes to deploy.

Ukrainian border guards have published footage of the use of the RAK SA-12 multiple launch rocket system provided by Croatia. The relevant photos were published by the press center of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine on June 5.

“Armed and motivated, we are moving towards a single goal – to defeat the enemy and regain ours! We wish all Ukrainians a cheerful mood,” the State Border Guard Service said in a statement.

What is known about RAK-SA-12 MLRS?

According to Defense Express, the RAK-SA-12 is a unique development that occupies an intermediate position between a traditional 120-mm mortar and a 105-mm light howitzer. However, unlike a conventional howitzer, the Croatian MLRS is capable of firing up to 12 rounds in 10 seconds toward the enemy.

The weight of a fully equipped RAK-SA-12 is 960 kg; it takes up to 1 minute 30 seconds to deploy to a position with the MLRS already loaded, up to 3 minutes 30 seconds to deploy with reloading, and up to 1 minute to deploy from a combat position. The range of the RAK-SA-12 is from 800 to 8000 meters, with the option of firing from a remote control at a distance of up to 25 meters from the launcher.
