Britain is ready to cooperate with Germany to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles
The United Kingdom offers to help Germany overcome its differences and provide Ukraine with long-range Taurus missiles.
According to British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, the UK is determined to work closely with our German partners on all issues to help Ukraine.
Cameron explained that a possible ring-fenced exchange is allowed. For example, Germany will provide Britain with Taurus missiles, and London, in turn, will provide Ukraine with additional Storm Shadow missiles.
We are ready to consider all options to achieve the maximum effect for Ukraine… But we will not give any details and will not tell our opponents what we are planning.

Cameron dismissed concerns that the transfer of cruise missiles could lead to an escalation.
It is absolutely possible to put restrictions on the use of these weapons to ensure that they do not contribute to escalation in any way,” he said, adding that Britain trusts Ukraine’s assurances.
Taurus for Ukraine: what is known
Since last year, Ukraine has been asking Germany to start supplying long-range Taurus missiles, which are capable of destroying targets at a distance of up to 500 kilometers.
One of the main opponents of the transfer of these weapons to Kyiv is German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. At the same time, Germany refuses under various pretexts. In particular, one of the theses is the fear of Kyiv’s possible strikes on Russian territory.
Scholz continues to claim that this would allegedly mean that Germany would become a party to a war with Russia.
Germany cannot provide Ukraine with weapons with a range of 500 kilometers, which, if misused, could reach the target in Moscow,” Olaf Scholz said.
According to him, what official London and Paris do in terms of target control and accompanying target control cannot be done in Germany.
Earlier, the UK and France provided Ukraine with long-range Storm Shadow and Scalp missiles. It is also known that the United States has provided our soldiers with missiles with a range of up to 165 kilometers. We are talking about long-range ATACMS missiles.
