British Intelligence: Occupants near Avdiivka suffered the biggest losses in 2023
The losses of Russian troops near Avdiivka are likely to be the largest for the entire year of 2023. The occupiers cannot effectively advance as the Kremlin leadership wants them to.
This was reported by the British Ministry of Defense on Twitter.
British intelligence emphasizes that heavy fighting has been going on in the Avdiivka area over the past week. Russia launched an offensive in this area in mid-October.

According to intelligence, the occupants sent up to eight brigades to Avdiivka. They suffered losses that are probably the largest among Russian troops in 2023.
At the same time, Russian so-called “military experts” criticize the tactics of the military. British intelligence believes that the nature of the Russian invasion remains the same as at the beginning of the war.
“Political leaders are demanding to seize more territory, but the military is unable to carry out effective offensive actions at the operational level,” the statement said.
