Budanov visited Bakhmut
Head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov visited the forward positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmut. This was reported by GUR on Telegram.
The major general visited ground zero on December 27-28.
‘Budanov listened to the reports of the commanders of the DIU units of the Ministry of Defense, defined the tasks and awarded the soldiers who distinguished themselves during the destruction of the occupiers,’ the department’s laconic message says.
- On December 20, President Zelensky came to the hottest point of the war – and also awarded the fighters.
- As of December 24, Budanov has no intelligence about an imminent invasion from Belarus.
