Local entrepreneurs, according to journalists, were obliged to cope with the task set by the administration in three days on a voluntary basis.
On Monday, April 3, the local authorities of the frontline Russian city of Belgorod sent letters to the city’s entrepreneurs recommending that they build shelters for employees and dig trenches “due to the threat of shelling.” This became known from local Telegram publics.
It is known that Deputy Mayor Igor Grigorenko reminded business owners that the threat of shelling from Ukraine remains, and therefore “recommended” them to equip ground and underground shelters for employees, as well as to start laying sandbags and concrete blocks on the buildings where the enterprises are located.
The letter states that it primarily refers to buildings made of profiled sheets and panelized structures.
Despite the fact that the letter is supposedly advisory in nature, entrepreneurs have been given a deadline of three days. By 06.04.2023, business leaders are asked to report on the measures taken by sending a letter to the city authorities.
