Can carry nuclear bombs: Russia’s new nuclear submarine launches ballistic missile with a range of 9300 km (video)

Russia tests a new strategic nuclear submarine, the Emperor Alexander III. The submarine test-fired a ballistic missile.

“Emperor Alexander III is a fourth-generation nuclear submarine. It was the fourth vessel built as part of the Borei-A project. The submarine is equipped with anti-aircraft missile systems and 533 mm torpedoes.

The main weapon of the nuclear missile cruiser is the Bulava ballistic missile. The video above shows a test launch of a missile from the White Sea. The Russians report that the testing of the new weapon was successful, and the main units arrived in the designated area on time.

“The Bulava (SS-NX-30 according to NATO classification) is an intercontinental ballistic missile with a launch range of 9,300 km. It is capable of carrying several hypersonic nuclear warheads of individual guidance. According to open sources, the nuclear charge yield is up to 150 kilotons.
