The number of users increased to 100 million in January
ChatGPT is a new service that has achieved the impossible. Its popularity is increasing at a faster rate than TikTok.
According to the analytical company UBS, the total number of users reached 100 million in January. The chatbot, developed by OpenAI, became available only on November 30, 2022. During the month, the user base grew to 57 million.
Analysts from UBS report that 13 million people used chatbot services every day during January 2023. And we are talking about unique visitors. ChatGPT’s popularity has doubled since December.
In comparison, TikTok, despite its huge popularity, attracted 100 million users only nine months after its global debut. It took Instagram two and a half years after the launch of the service to reach this level.
