Cheap Ukrainian FPV drone hits Russian “Solntsepyok” right during combat operations (video)

We recently wrote about how an FPV drone flew into the hatch of a Russian tank. Now, the same drone has been used to destroy a TOS-1A Solntsepyok.

The Special Operations Center “A” of the Security Service of Ukraine used an FPV drone to destroy a heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A “Solntsepyok”. According to Russian propaganda, this is the most powerful weapon in the Russian army’s inventory, with the exception of nuclear weapons.

Interestingly, the FPV drone was able to hit the Solntsepyok right during combat operations. The video shows how the kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle flew into a package of ammunition. By the way, the cost of a full salvo is up to $150,000.

TOS-1A Solntsepyok has been used since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine. As of mid-February 2023, the Ukrainian Defense Forces had destroyed at least nine flamethrower systems and captured four more.
