China demonstrates its latest drone killer, the ZGRK Type 625, in action
The People’s Liberation Army of China demonstrated a new Type 625 self-propelled short-range air defense missile system.
This is stated in the report of the Defense Blog.
These systems are designed to protect ground troops and important facilities from air threats at low altitudes, countering helicopters, low-flying aircraft and drones.
The combat vehicle is armed with a six-barreled 25-mm cannon and 4 short-range surface-to-air missiles.
Target guidance and tracking is provided by the installed radar, and the target can also be fixed by targeting from third-party means.
