China shows a kit for launching four kamikaze drones at once, designed for infantrymen
Chinese engineers have demonstrated a new system for launching four drones at once with a charge of 500 grams of TNT in each.
A kit for launching four small kamikaze drones at once can be equipped with a 500 g charge of TNT. Each of these drones can fly at a speed of 174 km/h. The charge of explosives is small, but it is enough to disable light vehicles or destroy soldiers hiding in a shelter.
The drone has a maximum flight time of 30 minutes and is equipped with automatic tracking and location devices for precise strikes. The compact drone weighs just 1.8 kg and comes with a backpack that will allow an infantry soldier to carry four drones at once. As soon as one of these drones takes to the air and finds a target, the other can follow almost immediately.
The drones are constructed of carbon fiber and other lightweight materials, which significantly reduces weight, improves autonomy, and helps to counter electronic warfare.
