Such situations arise very often. A report by the US Department of Defense says that from the fall of 2021 to the fall of 2023, 180 cases of unprofessional and risky behavior of Chinese aircraft in the sky were recorded. This is more than in the entire previous decade.
The published video shows the J-11 approaching the B-52H Stratofortress, disappearing for a moment and then reappearing. The incident was unique, as the Chinese fighter jet performed a dangerous maneuver near a strategic aircraft that could carry nuclear weapons.
