Criminals with HIV and hepatitis are being recruited at Wagner’s PMK – intelligence
Ukrainian intelligence reports that Wagner’s PMK is massively recruiting prisoners from Russian prisons suffering from serious infectious diseases, including HIV and hepatitis C
This is stated in the message of the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
It is noted that the Russians mark such sick ‘fighters’ with appropriate bracelets on their hands, red ones for HIV patients, and white ones for hepatitis patients.
According to intelligence data, more than a hundred prisoners with confirmed HIV or hepatitis C were ‘mobilized’ to the Wagner prison from only one correctional colony No. 5 in the village of Metalostroy, Leningrad region. This causes discontent among the healthy occupants. Intelligence reports that Russian doctors systematically refuse to provide assistance to the wounded with these diseases.
It is also reported that captured militants with such diseases have already been found in Ukraine, which confirms the information about the mass ‘recruitment’ of infected prisoners to the Wagner PKK.
The American Institute for the Study of War said that Yevgeny Prigozhin, a businessman and owner of Wagner’s PMC, has more and more influence in Russia. Analysts emphasize that the military structure, in the creation of which he involved Igor Girkin, may threaten Vladimir Putin’s regime in the future.
