Damaged Patriot brought from Ukrainian battlefield to the United States
A damaged M903 launcher from the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system was delivered to the United States.
The video was posted by Dustin Weese on Facebook.
The launcher was delivered to the United States on an An-124 transport aircraft that took off from Rzeszow, Poland, on April 5.
The aircraft, registration number UR-82027, departed Poland at 9:21 a.m. and landed at Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, Pennsylvania, USA, at 9:36 a.m.
It should be noted that an M860 semitrailer was delivered to the United States, on which transport and launch containers with MIM-104 missiles are installed.
The complete launcher has a military index of M903 and consists of the M860 semitrailer itself, a generator mounted in the front, transport and launch containers and a data terminal antenna.
It is not yet known where the launcher was damaged, but judging by the footage in the video, it was slightly damaged.
Currently, the PU is located in the United States and repairs are expected to begin soon.
This is not the first time that Ukrainian equipment has been noticed in the United States.
Earlier, Militarnyi reported that in February 2024, two damaged launchers of the M142 HIMARS rocket artillery system of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were delivered to the United States.
The author of the video said in the description that on February 10, 2024, a Ukrainian heavy transport aircraft An-124 landed at Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, Pennsylvania, USA.
Two HIMARS launchers damaged in the war in Ukraine were quickly unloaded from the plane. After loading other U.S. Army vehicles, the An-124 took off from the U.S. airport about two hours after arrival.
