Dell introduces a transforming monitor that turns into a large tablet
A rather interesting gadget has appeared in the product line of the North American company Dell. It is a transforming touchscreen monitor that can turn into a large tablet.
The 24 Touch USB-C Hub is equipped with a 24″ IPS matrix with FHD resolution. It is capable of recognizing touches from ten fingers simultaneously. The matrix has a brightness of 300 nits.
The USB-C connector (90 W) allows you to use this unusual gadget as a laptop charger. One 3-watt speaker is built into the body of the monitor-transformer. The ports include DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, a 3.5 mm jack, an Ethernet port, and three USB-A.
The device is positioned by Dell as the world’s first 24″ touchscreen monitor that can connect directly to the Internet. This allows the monitor software to be updated over the air. In addition, users can use specialized network functions.
The cost of the transformed monitor is 520 USD, which is equivalent to 19,000 UAH.
