Development of a modern electric bus is being finalized in Ukraine
The Etalon bus plant continues to manufacture public buses. In 2024, work will continue on the production of electric buses that will complement the Chernihiv Automobile Plant’s model range.
The electric bus will be called A08611 and will be based on the Malva bus. This indicates that the models will have a similar body and overall appearance. The bus will be 9.5 meters long.
The Chernihiv Automobile Plant and Informbusiness will produce this vehicle on a lithium-ion battery. The range is expected to be 250-280 km.
In addition to the electric bus, Chernihiv Automobile Plant is also working on the T12230 E-Barvinok trolleybus. It is known that in 2023 Chernihiv Automobile Plant produced more than 300 vehicles. The vast majority of public transportation was made for schools. Currently, Etalon buses occupy 32% of the market.
