Didn’t a miracle happen? The world-famous business that invented ChatGPT brought in only $130

The business that became world-famous thanks to ChatGPT’s invention brought its owner only $130, and after that, the man who conceived the experiment simply stopped sharing the results. Instead, he started bragging about his own popularity.

Designer, writer, and tech specialist Jackson Fall asked the chatbot to find an idea for an online business that would allow him to earn as much money as possible. ChatGPT then created Green Gadget Guru, an affiliate marketing site that generates content about eco-friendly living and advertises products in exchange for sales commissions. His story went viral. The day after the enthusiast followed all the instructions of ChatGPT, his company was valued at almost $25 thousand.

And now, since March 21, Fall has not shared statistics and updates about his business. Instead, he has become popular: he is invited to podcasts and interviews.

Fall’s latest update says that Green Gadget Guru has generated $130 in revenue. Of course, this would be something, but if we assume that Fall worked on the project for 8 hours at a time, it still means that he earned less than $3 per hour. That is significantly less than the minimum wage in the United States. At that rate, it would have been a long way to go to generate value for his investors, who he said had invested about $7,700.

The site itself hasn’t been updated for a long time, and it looks rather pathetic, given its worldwide popularity. Don’t believe me? Take a look for yourself.

But this is not the only example of a business invented by artificial intelligence. Portuguese João Ferrao do Santos commissioned ChatGPT to invent a business and appointed artificial intelligence as CEO. In just a few days, the idea paid off, bringing Santos 7 thousand euros. Moreover, the man has already attracted investors and become known almost all over the world. The AI itself valued the business at 4 million euros.
