Drone pierced the roof and exploded: Smolensk aircraft factory attacked by unknown UAVs (video)

Russia claims that Ukrainian Armed Forces drones allegedly tried to attack an aircraft plant in the Smolensk region.

This was reported by Russian Telegram channels.

According to the network, the attempted attack took place on the morning of November 26. In total, at least two airplane-type drones were flying toward the plant.

Traditionally, Russians claim to have shot down all drones. The first of them was allegedly shot down around 9:00 am in the Zadneprovsky district of Smolensk.

Half an hour later, another drone was spotted over Smolensk. According to online reports, it was allegedly suppressed by the RBU.

As a result of the “crash,” the drone fell to the roof of one of the plant’s workshops and exploded. As a result, the roof itself and a floor beam were damaged. The victims are traditionally not reported.

The Telegram channel Monitor published footage showing smoke in the area of the aircraft plant and local comments.

Not the first attack on the Smolensk aircraft plant

As a reminder, in October, attack drones attacked the Smolensk Aviation Plant in Russia. The company produced X-59 missiles.

“On October 1, 2023, as a result of a strike on the Smolensk Aviation Plant, the process of producing X-59 missiles of various modifications was disrupted,” the Ukrainian intelligence service said.

According to the DIU, three of the four drones hit the target, causing significant damage to the production facilities of the aggressor state’s military enterprise.
