DroneShield presents new anti-drone pistol DroneGun Mk4
Engineers of the American-Australian company Drone Shield have designed a new anti-drone pistol, the DroneGun Mk4. Technical specifications of the device were published on the manufacturer’s website.
The DroneGun Mk4 weighs just over 3 kg. The principle of operation of the pistol is no different from anti-drone guns. Due to its compact size, the DroneGun Mk4 can be held in one hand. Drone Shield claims that the gun is as effective as a shotgun. At the same time, it has a higher level of protection.
The new product boasts upper and lower Picatinny bars, a selector switch, and several Quick-Disconnect strap mounts. These components were added by Drone Shield engineers for the convenience of the military.
The target of the DroneGun Mk4 returns to the launch site or lands on the ground. The gun blocks the camera’s image transmission channel. As a result, the operator cannot see anything. The IP67 enclosure allows the drone jamming device to be used in all weather conditions. The DroneGun Mk4 is transported in a secure case.

Unfortunately, the price of the new anti-drone gun is not disclosed on the manufacturer’s website. By the way, DroneGun anti-drone guns have become known worldwide thanks to their skillful use by the Ukrainian military. They are in service with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Pistols will soon be added to them.
