DTEK Energy’s Ukrainian enterprises have started using Starlink terminals
DTEK Energo’s thermal power plants, mines and machine-building plants have received Starlink satellite internet terminals from Elon Musk’s SpaceX, DTEK Energo Ukraine reports.
Power Engineers, miners and machine builders will use Starlink mainly as an additional communication channel in case of loss of the main communication channels.
The equipment will be put into operation both for providing Corporate Solutions, for example, communication between personnel at a distance, working with information resources and production systems, and for technological solutions — managing technological equipment and processes, exchanging system data, and so on.
The introduction of satellite-based systems in various critical industries will allow Ukraine to resist the Russian invasion and the operation of critical systems even in conditions of constant shelling and disruption of basic communications.
