Elon Musk announced a new date for the premiere of the Tesla Cybertruck
The wait is not very long, but will this date come true?
On November 21, it will be three years since Elon Max first showed the revolutionary Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup to the public. Thanks to the original design, the car caused a storm of emotions among consumers, and the most enthusiastic began to make pre-orders.
Musk promised the first cars in 2021, but outside is the middle of 2022, and ‘Truck is still there’, that is, in development. During the waiting period, competitors of Musk’s electric pickup have already gone on sale – we are talking about the GMC Hummer EV, Rivian R1T and Ford F-150 Lightning.
Elon Musk now hopes that deliveries of the Tesla Cybertruck will begin in mid-2023. He wrote about this at Tesla’s question and answer session for shareholders. However, even if Tesla can reach its goal in mid-2023, it will not be all the versions announced. The Cybertruck WT is due to arrive in spring 2023 with an estimated range of over 400 miles (644 km). Then, in the fall of the same year, it will be followed by the best version, RST First Edition.
Analysts predict that this time, Tesla will finally be able to meet the specified deadline. After all, the Giga Texas factory where this pickup was going to be produced is already open and producing the Model Y. The company is also testing a range of Cybertruck prototypes, and they seem to be getting closer to production.
