Emergency in the capital: Cars burned down at Kyiv impound lot (video)

Around 14:05, a fire broke out at one of the MIA’s impound lots. The cause of the fire has not yet been established. Due to the fact that the cars were located next to each other, the fire spread rapidly. Therefore, by the time firefighters arrived at the scene, 10 cars were already on fire. Kyiv residents could see thick smoke from the fire in several districts of the city, so they actively shared the fire on Telegram. According to the State Emergency Service, the fire broke out at a playground on Kanalna Street in the Darnytskyi district. Five units of special equipment and 25 firefighters were engaged to extinguish the fire. They first managed to block the fire and keep the rest of the cars from catching fire, and later, at about 15:00, they managed to completely extinguish it.
