Experimental drone “Sea Kid” shoots down Russian missile ship “Samum”

The aggressor country continues to suffer losses in the war against Ukraine. On September 15, it became known that the experimental Sea Baby managed to shoot down the Russian missile ship Samum near Sevastopol Bay.

Sources in the special services told about another successful operation. According to them, the Russian missile ship Samum was shot down with the help of an experimental marine drone Sea Baby.

What is known about the ship attack

The intelligence services say that yesterday, September 14, an SBU maritime drone organized a “cotton” to a Russian ship. “Samum was located near the entrance to Sevastopol Bay. It is known that the Sea Baby managed to hit the rear right side of the occupiers’ vessel. This caused significant damage to the ship, which resulted in it losing its momentum.

According to reports, the Russian invaders had to take the Samum in tow and send it for repairs. At the time, the ship was tilted and heeled to starboard.

According to the special services, the SBU used its experimental model of a marine drone for this attack. It has the ability to perform combat missions in a storm and hide from detection behind high waves. During the operation, the waves reached 1.5-2 meters in height.
