“Eyes of the artillery”: WarDog – an innovative Ukrainian drone that will not be stopped by terrain or electronic warfare
Ukrainian engineers have created an innovative reconnaissance drone, WarDog, nicknamed the “eyes of artillery.” This drone is capable of performing reconnaissance missions in various modes: autonomous, semi-autonomous, and manual. Even in difficult terrain and under the influence of enemy electronic warfare, including GPS signal jamming, WarDog continues to perform its tasks effectively.
WarDog has an impressive range of up to 10 km with active communication and up to 30 km in autopilot mode. Its speed reaches 12-15 m/s, which ensures fast information transfer and efficient task execution.
One of the main advantages of this drone is its long flight duration of up to 60 minutes, which provides sufficient time for reconnaissance and artillery fire.
Thanks to successful combat trials in the Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv sectors, as well as near Kramatorsk, where the drone demonstrated high performance even when the GPS signal was suppressed at an altitude of more than 50 meters, WarDog has won the trust of the military.
Particular attention is paid to the stability of the drone’s flight, especially in the absence of a GPS signal and strong winds. This allows WarDog to hold the image clearly and steadily in the frame and stay in focus, which in turn contributes to more accurate and efficient task performance.
Thanks to feedback from the military, the developers are constantly improving the functionality of the WarDog drone, making the “eyes of artillery” even more effective and multifunctional.
