First Russian-made Shahed-136 shot down in Ukraine

After another Shahed-136 attack was repelled, a wreckage of the aircraft with the serial number I002 was found in Ukraine. This was reported by Operative Armed Forces.

It is worth noting that the I002 marking is not typical for drones assembled in Iran. Their serial numbers begin with the letter M. According to experts, the new marking may indicate that Russia has set up production of kamikaze drones on its territory.

Earlier it was reported that a production site for the production of Shaheds would be launched in Tatarstan. Experts estimated the cost of the project at 130 billion rubles. The Kremlin does not officially recognize the purchase of Iranian drones. In Iranian internal documentation, they are called “boats”.

It is known that the state-owned VTB Banking Group has taken over the financing of the project to launch the production of Shaheds in Russia. SuperCam, Aviatest Aero and Albatros were involved in its implementation. All of them are residents of the Alabuga SEZ.
