Following Slovakia: Poland hands over first batch of MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine

Poland continues to help Ukraine by handing over Soviet MiG-29 fighter jets to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This was stated by the head of the Office of International Policy of the President of Poland during an interview on RMF FM. This is the first batch of 4 aircraft. It is not yet known how many fighters Poland will transfer to Ukraine. By the way, in addition to Poland, Slovakia also sent its MiG-29 fighters to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The MiG-29 is a fourth-generation Soviet multi-role fighter aircraft. It was the main multi-role fighter of the Warsaw Pact and the USSR during the 1980s. Today, the MiG-29 is in service in many countries around the world, including Ukraine. It has more than 15 modifications.
