Footage of Ukrainian surface drones attacking Russian landing ships in Chornomorsk has emerged
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has published a video showing an attack on small amphibious ships of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in occupied Chornomorsk.
The attack was carried out using surface drones.
“As a result of a night operation on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea, small landing crafts of the Russian Black Sea Fleet were hit by soldiers. These are boats of the 11770 project (chamois class). The vessels were carrying a crew and loaded with armored vehicles, including BTR-82. The aggressor state, Russia, actively used small serna-class landing boats during the occupation of Zmiinyi Island to deploy military equipment and troops. In addition, the Russians deployed Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems on board the boats to provide mobile cover for their group on the island and in our Black Sea. A small amphibious assault ship of the Serna class has a high speed, can carry up to 45 tons of cargo and 92 armed troops. The occupiers use these boats to land advanced marine groups or evacuate them. And in the conditions of the Russians’ actual absence of shipboard air defense means after a series of attacks by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, such boats with SAMs on board served as cover for the invaders’ ships of the Black Sea Fleet during raids,” the intelligence officers note in the commentary to the video.
