Forbes told what the transfer of long-range missiles for HIMARS to the Armed Forces of Ukraine will lead to
The Pentagon’s transfer of 100 ATACMS missiles to the Ukrainian army will lead to a significant change in the deployment of forces at the front in the short term. According to Forbes, tactical missiles from the USA will allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to cut off the invaders from the supply routes, which are located deep in the rear.
Forbes’ journalists note that Russia supplies BC to its troops mainly by rail transport. Thanks to GMLRS missiles, the army of Ukraine managed to push back the final ammunition unloading points. As a result, the time of their delivery to the front increased. ATACMS missiles are more effective in this regard. The latter can be used to destroy bridges and railway stations. With their help, the Armed Forces will be able to hit enemy targets almost anywhere in Ukraine.
Of course, long-range missiles from the USA will not be a ‘silver bullet’. At the same time, they can provide a counteroffensive in the southern direction. American parliamentarians are not against providing the Armed Forces with tactical missiles. The question is when exactly and in what quantity they will be delivered.
