Ford’s newest competitor to Tesla Cybertruck appears in Ukraine (photo)

The new Ford F-150 Lightning has begun to be delivered to Ukraine. One such electric pickup truck has already been photographed in Kyiv. The photos were published by Avtotsentr.
The Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck will be launched in 2022 and will be sold at a price of $40,000 in the United States. It is one of the main competitors of the new Tesla Cybertruck.

However, unlike Tesla, Ford chose a conservative approach and made the electric car as similar as possible to the gasoline F-150. Only the other front part gives it away.
The Ford F-150 Lightning electric vehicle is offered exclusively in a four-door version. The pickup weighs 2,890 kg and has a payload of 1,013 kg; it can also tow a 4.5-ton trailer. It has a huge front trunk.
The new Ford F-150 Lightning is offered in all-wheel drive twin-engine versions with 452 and 580 hp. с. with the same torque of 1051 N∙m. The more powerful version accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

The pickups offer batteries with a capacity of 98 and 131 kWh. The range is 390 and 480-510 km, respectively. In addition, there is a bi-directional charging function – you can power electrical equipment or even an entire house from the car.
