Glickenhaus показала військову версію баггі 008 зі збройовим модулем на даху
The American car company Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus is considering the possibility of expanding the model range of its cars. In addition to supercars and SUVs, the company also intends to establish the production of cars specifically for the armed forces. New renders show a buggy version of 008 as a quick responder. The company said military, fire and law enforcement variants of the Boot SUV will follow later.
This version of the Glickenhaus 008 is largely similar to the existing model, except for the additional light sources at the front, olive drab paint and a weapons module on the roof. Judging by the design, it seems that the weapon will be controlled by a person inside the car. The roof rack provides a place to transport additional equipment.
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus first revealed the 008 buggy in March 2020 as a vehicle that combines elements of the stylish 004 supercar and the Boot SUV. The suspension design provides plenty of wheel travel to absorb bumps during high-speed cross-country travel. In May 2022, Glickenhaus announced that the consumer version of the 008 will start at $99,995 without options.
So far, the company is in no hurry to share the detailed characteristics of the 008 buggy’s transmission. It is only known that the car has a mid-mounted V8 engine and Wilwood brakes.
